Nutrition...Your Hair Reflects What You Eat.


We at LaNaturalle Products are always educating our customers on how important good nutrition is for the scalp and the hair.  Without the body taking in the essential nutrients the scalp and the hair will not get the support needed to maintain optimum health. Taking in the adequate amount of nutrients is not something that should be done some of the time, but all of the time. 

When we talk about good nutrition we are referring to eating five servings or more of your fruits and vegetable, along with the in-taking of grains and proteins. The nutrients that we get from these will help the body as well as the scalp and hair to be healthy.

But what if I find it difficult to intake the adequate amount of nutrients ? Because we live in such a fast paced society, it may be difficult at times to intake the adequate amount of nutrients through the consumption of fruits and vegetables. It also may become too expensive to do so because of the economic times that we live in. Even if you could afford the fruits and vegetables that your body needed it would be difficult to consume these much needed nutrients because most of the foods we consume are cooked and/or processed. Cooking at high temperatures and processing destroy vital nutrients the body needs to function properly.  The organic raw foods that we need are largely missing from today's diet.  


So what is the solution? Well the solution that many have found that works for them is the taking of nutritional supplementation along with the eating of the basic four Nutrients.   This is why nutritional supplementation is a must in today's society.

Drink Water.  Plenty of water.  It is recommended by nutritionist to drink eight to ten glasses of water or half of your body weight in ounces of water.

Drinking water flushes your body of toxins, chemicals, and impurities that stifle your bodies performance, your hair growth and disrupt your hormone and enzyme imbalances. Water also transports the important nutrients your body needs throughout your body including taking them to the blood stream which nourishes the scalp and hair. Hate drinking water? Add lemon and Splenda to have a healthy, tasty alternative.

Proteins are also important for healthy hair. Your hair is made up of protein, . Thus, you need a well balanced diet consisting of proteins, vitamins, minerals, and other hair-strengthening nutrients. Increase your intake of fish. It is full of healthy proteins and essential fatty acids and natural oils your hair needs. So, in order to have healthy, beautiful hair,remember you are what you eat!!
